Royal Med is the leading freight forwarder with the largest market share in the temperature-controlled containerised business in Egypt thanks to our advantageous positioning in the industry working in partnership with the top shipping lines and shippers, and operating capability and infrastructure. We also provide dry containers, air freight and import services. We are the top reefer client with major shipping lines including Arkas, CMA-CGM, Cosco, Hapag-Lloyd, Maersk, MSC, OOCL, and Sealand.

In 2018, we moved 18,000 reefer- and 3,000 dry-containers. Our main destinations in Europe include seaports in France, Italy, Germany, Netherlands, Russia, Slovenia, UK, and Ukraine. In Asia, seaports of China, India, Kuwait, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Singapore and UAE. We also move cargo to various seaports in Africa, Australia and the USA.

Perishables dominate our activities with the fresh and frozen produce having the lion's share of this segment. The main reefer cargo we move includes fresh citrus, onions, potatoes, grapes, pomegranates, and frozen fruits and vegetables. Dry business is also significant primarily including foodstuff, petrochemicals and sanitaryware. Perishables is a seasonal business. The Dry business keeps us busy during the off-peak and slack periods of the year.
