Express Consolidation Systems (ECS) was formed in 1982 as a freight forwarder, an NVOCC and a shipping line agency, first in New York and shortly thereafter opened offices in Miami and Houston. (Only the Miami office is registered in WCA at this time.) In addition to all functions normally performed in the Air and Ocean freight forwarding business, at a very early stage, ECS specialized in the project forwarding industry and the transportation of heavy and large equipment. This quickly rapidly became a priority focus for our development and in cooperation with some of the most professional operators around the world, ECS became a highly efficient organizer of specialized transports.

Our strong presence in the hub of Miami opened the door to the Caribbean basin where we handled many projects in construction of infrastructure and for the hotel industry. Very well introduced in all of the islands and bordering countries, ECS was able to carry out very major projects for some of the largest industrial concerns. This work included multi-million USD complete supply chain management projects, factory relocations, major projects for infrastructure, mining, oil and gas, power plants, hotel renovation, sports events as well as art work.
