Al Sharqi Shipping Co LLC was established in August 1989 to initially serve the Dubai and United Arab Emirates market with the objective of satisfying all of our customer’s needs. This Vision has led to one of the best customer retention rates in our markets with many customers with us since our beginnings and many from their beginnings as well. Today, we have our own specialized in house Customs brokerage unit able to handle all type of shipments including special clearances; a transportation division with 30 tractor heads, 70 trailers and 4 Container Side Loaders; and specialized container handling equipment to provide reliable transportation service to our customer base. We also have a separate Export and Import department for both sea and air movements from all ports in United Arab Emirates, and handle local operations in Sharjah and Northern Emirates. We are a licensed Customs broker, shipping and air cargo agent in United Arab Emirates able to handle all your shipping and logistics needs.

In 2006, we decided to venture into Pakistan market to meet the growing demands of our current customers as well as the prospects of growth offered by Pakistan market that demanded reliable service and cost effective logistics solution. We were joined in this endeavor by a great team and since then we have aggressively expanded the range and level of services to our customers. We are a licensed customs broker and are able to operate as Sea and Air cargo agent. Our areas of major cargo movement outbound are Mediterranean, East and West Africa, Indian Subcontinent and Far East. Inbound movements are originating mainly from Europe, Far East and Australia & NZ.

We also have volumes moving with all the major sea carriers operating in this part of the world and able to assist in both FOB, CFR and Cross bookings. We are always on the lookout for likeminded forwarders who have an interest in developing both export and import markets with the ultimate aim of benefiting the customer and growing our companies.

We consistently rank among the top customers of vendors such as Maersk, CMA CGM, Hapag-Lloyd and many more. In fact, we have been recognized as Platinum customers for both Maersk and CMA CGM consecutively for the past 5 years.

In 2015, we were also ranked as one of the Top 100 SMES of Dubai, UAE - officially recognized by H.H Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashed Al Maktoum.
