Established in 1990 with the opening of our Dublin office, Quality Freight Ltd. is now Ireland's leading Multitask Freight Specialist. In 1994 we purchased I.S.T. Air Ltd., and also opened our Belfast office. We commenced our short-sea container joint venture with Geest, now Samskip who operate containers door-to-door between over 30 countries from Russia, Scandinavia and Iceland in the north of Europe to Spain, Italy, Austria, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Slovakia in the South and Central Europe. Persently there are over 13,000 containers and 28 container vessels in the fleet.

Since 1994 the Quality Freight Group has expanded their business portfolio to encompass a strong presence in bulk powder and bulk liquid operations offering domestic and international services.

In 2000 we acquired Edward Nicholson Ltd. and set up Quality Freight UK Ltd., both located at Ellesmere Port on Manchester Ship Canal where it operates the port under licence and is one of the largest chartering & agency companies together with Handling Project Cargoes at its purpose built facility in the North West of the U.K.

In 2005 we entered into a joint venture with Damco, part of the P&O Neddlloyd/Maersk group of companies, offering unrivalled worldwide container services, along with expanded airfreight capabilities.
