Sparber Group was founded in 1981 in Bilbao. Sparber Transport S.A. (Land transportation), Sparber Lineas Maritimas S.A. (Seafreight), Sparber Air Cargo S.A. (Airfreight), Sparber Project Cargo and Exportlan S.A. (Warehousing) are the different brand names of Sparber companies depending on each specific activity in transportation / logistics. We are active in all fields of freight forwarding ranging from insurance, customs clearance, consolidation, own warehouse storage, pick & pack, distribution, up to project forwarding. Among the wide spectrum of services offered by our company, we would like to point out: just in time, urgent and special transport, door-to-door, split and full charter, and break bulk service.

We are Spanish market leaders in European Groupage Service using our own truck fleet to almost all central and eastern European countries, both export and import wise. Our leading position continues also in sea freight matters, acting as NVOCC and offering more than 30 destinations to Latin America with a direct, weekly service. Sparber Air Cargo is also a very well known key player in Spain offering consolidation services to and from the most important international airports. Express service is one of our specialities and Special Projects are at home with our project cargo division, which is able to handle all international cross trading shipments.

Our own offices and warehouses are located in Bilbao, Barcelona, Barcelona-Airport and Valencia. We have a vast network of partners/agents covering all major airports and harbours elsewhere in Spain and worldwide. We also have our own premises in Chile and Mexico, and are open to establish new Sparber offices wherever our presence is needed, be it just by ourselves or through joint-ventures.

In the ever changing world of trade, quick adaptation to market trends is imperative. We put special emphasis on implementing office automation (own operations computer system, EDI) as well as keeping our clients always well informed. In all our branches English, German and French is spoken. We employ around 150 persons.
