In 1971 Mr. Awsaf Khalil Ghorayeb took the decision to start the first step in building his own customs clearing and freight forwarding office in the heart of his country Beirut, Lebanon. Day after day GIFCO, being equipped to support logistics needs world wide, became an industry leader offering a variety of services through its operating branches in Lebanon, Egypt, Afghanistan, Dubai, Pakistan, Kenya and Damascus.
