In 2007 Novo Express international, a founding member of the WCA, entered into an operating agreement with American Food Export Services (AMFEX). AMFEX is a NY/NJ based company specializing in insuring that American food products, dry, chilled and frozen were fully compliant with a destination country import regulations via a dating and labeling service meeting the requirements of the each destination country. Under the NOVO/AMFEX agreement this service expanded to providing a full line of export services to a host of US food export manufacturers and distributors shipping worldwide. Last year we handled and shipped over 713,000 Kg. of chilled and frozen air cargo as well as 980 chilled, frozen, and dry ocean containers. We are proud of the relationships and reputation we have established with our customers and within the industry. We provide consistent quality service at competitive pricing. This relationship rapidly expanded the service capabilities of both companies.

Last year saw the formation of a new division and service line, "CapeFresh USA" and CapeFresh UAE. These subsidiaries are offering a service long overdue for the Middle East - a chilled and frozen LCL service from the USA, UK, and EU to UAE with delivery expansion to the full gulf area in the near future. CapeFresh UAE will also offer storage and delivery services. The CapeFresh UAE warehouse in Dubai can receive and distribute consolidated food products from UK suppliers, EU suppliers and USA suppliers.

Our mission at Cape Fresh is to be the first and best at providing LCL frozen and chilled services from the USA, UK and the European Union to the UAE and eventually to all GCC countries. In conjunction with our existing WCA partners, like Celsius Logistics, in the UK and Share Logistics in Rotterdam, CapeFresh USA and its affiliated operations will make every effort to be at the forefront of this growing market and service sector. We look forward to working with the entire WCA membership to enhance and expand this service.
