Sri Lanka Customs has implemented a new rule for reporting of Import Manifests with immediate effect & this has been gazetted already. All import manifests to be reported 72 hours prior to the vessel arrival at port of Colombo. For short sea routes / shorter transits like Tuti & Chennai to Colombo, etc., Imports Manifests to be filed at the time of sailing of the vessel at POL.
Therefore pls send all pre alerts at least 96 hours prior to arrival of the vessel.
