Scanwell Logistics Colombo (Pvt) Limited, has been in the field of logistics for the past thirty-seven years, a part of the group which holds the GSA for Cargo in Colombo for a few airlines. Scanwell Logistics has a staff strength approximately 100 employees directly in the logistics division. We specialize in the inbound and out bound air and sea freight, as well as Customs brokerage for inbound cargo and forwarding of the export cargo, offering a door to door service to the customer, with a single point of contact.

Amongst the many commodities, we work with garments, accessories to the finished garments, as well as perishable goods, and temperature controlled goods.

We also do specialize in project cargo movements, as well as have staff who is IATA approved to handle Dangerous Goods.

Further in adding value to our customers the bonded warehouse facility (Bonded warehouse) offers a 24-hour service after vessel berthing to obtain clearance of cargo, whilst operating as an off-shore facility for the trading houses, and factories with multiple production plants across the globe. The non-bonded facility is ideal for the storage of other commodities such as the electronic items, chemicals, and more. Both warehouse facilities are able to offer bar coding systems, pick and pack operations, purchase order management, as well as local deliveries by our own fleet of vehicles.

As Sri Lanka is well situated as a maritime hub, we are fully fledged to handle trans-shipment, in a cost-effective manner to meet with the required arrivals at destination.
