ONE Surcharge Update - Container Service Charge (CVC) Oct 02nd, 2019 - Effective October 1, 2019
In order to continuously provide a reliable service to our customers, ONE will amend local charge in
Brazil as below.
The new level will be applicable on all import cargo to Brazil across all trade lanes and services, and will
be valid till further notice.
Applicable Charge: CVC (CNTR SVC CHARGE)
Quantum: USD 30 per Box
Effective Date: Oct 1st, 2019 (except for FMC regulated trades/services)
Oct 2nd, 2019 (for FMC regulated trades/services)
ZIM Origin Documentation Fee Update – Effective October 17, 2019
Effective October 17, 2019, the Origin Documentation Fee will be assessed for all US export cargo at following
•$80 USD Documentation Fee per bill of lading to be as freighted only, with the exception of submissions using
•$50 USD Documentation Fee per bill of lading when all documentation is submitted and prepared utilizing
e-commerce portals (ZIM, GT Nexus, or INTTRA).
*This fee is not subject to the currency adjustment factor.
ZIM Advisory - Trans-Pacific Trade: Peak Season Surcharge - October 1, 2019
Effective October 1, 2019, ZIM will be implementing a peak season surcharge for cargo originating from Far East
origins destined to the US and Canada at the following amounts:
•$900 USD per 20 ft. Container
•$1,000 USD per 40 ft. Standard Container
•$1,125 USD per 40 ft. High Cube Container
•$1,266 USD per 45 ft. Container
•Applicable to dry, refrigerated, and special equipment
ZIM Advisory - NEW BUNKER FACTOR - US to Far East - Effective October 3, 2019

Unless otherwise specified, all shipments governed by this Tariff (excluding Nhava Sheva and Mundra shall be subject to the following New Bunker Factor (NBF):

NOTE: The foregoing New Bunker Factor is calculated based upon the monthly average Fuel Price and shall be subject to revision as of the first day of each calendar quarter (01 January, 01April, 01 July, and 01 October).
Should the monthly average fuel price change more than 40 USD / Tonne, the New Bunker Factor will be revised upon thirty (30) days Notice.
NOTE: Service Contract cargoes subject to Carrier’s published BAF and / or EBS shall not be subject to NBF.

ZIM Advisory: Hazardous Miss Declaring of Cargo - ZIM/SETH
Following recent hazardous cargo misdeclaration incidents which seriously endangered the vessel and crew safety and the condition of other customers' cargoes on board, we wish to reiterate and notify as follows:
According to standard worldwide applicable law, International conventions, industry practice and ZIM’s Bill of Lading terms and conditions , the shipper is deemed to have guaranteed to the carrier the accuracy, at the time of shipment, of the cargo description, as furnished by him, and the shipper is responsible for all consequences of Misdeclaration, and is obligated to indemnify the carrier against all loss, damages and expenses resulting from inaccuracies in such particulars.
Misdeclaration includes but not limited to: incorrect/partial declaration, late declaration, alteration or omission of such declaration.
The above compulsory guidelines and certain related guidelines are also reflected in clauses 13.1 and 14.1 of ZIM's bill of lading terms and conditions.
In addition, kindly note that the carrier has the right to discharge the cargo and perform inspections at any time or place and to take any danger preventive measures, including but not limited to disposal of same, and is further entitled to recover all his losses and expenses from the shipper in the event of such Misdeclaration.
(a) Without prejudice to the above and, in addition to and on top of any other losses and/or damages for which the shipper shall be fully liable, a charge of USD 12,000 per container will be imposed upon the shipper for any such misdeclaration (which also constitutes a breach of contract).
(b) Acceptance by the shipper of ZIM’s bill of lading, shall be considered as acceptance of the above terms and special charge to be charged where applicable.
